These lamps are from Swank Lighting and are worth sharing! They’re silhouette is towering and edgy, surely evoking a slew of ooh’s and ahh’s once they catch the eye. They are Vintage Murano in Aubergine. The color name comes from the name of a small fruit in the eggplant family, which sprouts tiny, deep purple flowers with hints of white, similar to the design of white running through the purple glass.
I like the idea of placing these sculptural lamps in a light living room with a streamline sofa and a piece of modern, abstract art on the wall, panel curtains with a hint of gold, a simple textured rug… a setting in which they could steal the show, but only for a moment.
